Great to see that bit of Spyderco, Nemo, and Fred Perrin history back online!

Written with Lil'Native in the pocket. The Native has proven to be a strong presence in the Spyderco line-up!

Amazing and cool. Thank you for this. With all due respect to the current Native design, I do miss the older versions with the false-edge/swedge and wish it would be brought back at least in a sprint form. Great article.

I like how he gives good details but in an easy to read way.

I say we need a sprint run with the old spear shape, 52100 and carbon fiber new construction steel liner less. :-)

Thanks for the nice words.

Nemo,
Thank you. It is a good read, especially for people who love Natives.

!! That's so cool, my favorite model is the Native and it's interesting to get a look at a piece of history. I remember when GeoCities went down. Luckily I had made copies of most of my own websites and didn't lose much, but several other websites I loved visiting were hosted on GeoCities. And that was before I learned how to use Linux software and web spiders to save copies of other people's websites, so they're lost to me permanently now. :(

For Native pure love there is also that one here with smooth green G10, no liners and S90V blade:

Always interesting to hear Perrin's take on knives - the man knows blades.

Big fan of his knives and wont ever be without a PPT, Street Beat or Street Bowie.

I like the Millie, that I have and agree with most of FP's points on the knife.

I noted his take on serrated edges - the man dont pull no punches.
