KW’s carbon/Ti s90v feedback

#1

Post by spy4life »

For anyone who owned one or plan to buying one, please share your feedback. I have small/medium hand and always thought that it was too big for me but KW’s carbon/Ti looks too nice to pass on. For $199 it sounds like steal for what it is and even if I don’t used it often it’ll be nice addition to my collections.

Thanks

It is one of my nicest knives and at $199 it is a steal. I like bigger knives though and the Military is my favorite model.

Incredible knife for the money. Mille's carry smaller than you'd think in a back pocket ;)

It’s the best Military you can get IMO. And for the price right now it is a **** of a deal. I’m really thinking about getting a backup.

thanks everyone and I just pull a trigger on it. I heard that KW only made 1200-pcs but still seem to have them in stock which I find hard to believe. Wondering why it didn’t sell like hotcakes when they came out last year.

They initally were selling for $279.95. Last year they went down to $249.95 during some holiday sale and I got one. Now KW dropped the price to $199.95 so I picked up a second one. It's economics. As the price goes down, more people will buy it. Eventually all 1200 will be sold then you'll have to pay an arm or a leg on the secondary market.

I bought a backup at 199.99 as well. My first one has a CTS204P blade swapped into it. The Military rules.

I really like mine. My only gripe is that it had a “stain” on the blade when I received it. It kind of looks like it got overheated when grinding it.

I'm tempted to do this then sell the green G10/S90V version. I've never had a framelock Millie and it sounds interesting.

That's what I did, sold the green/S90V. Someone on BF has a frankenspydie like that right now, so I know others have gone through with the swap.

That sounds like an awesome swap. Are there still Green G10 204ps left?

Carrying mine today. That knife is fabulous. For me, it's perfect in every way and the quintessential expression of what Spyderco can do.

When it showed up just before Christmas, I thought I got a screamin' deal at @ $229.95. But at $199? "No-brainer" doesn't seem to cover it.

I have no idea why they aren't all gone.

Just received one today. All my knives are users so I don't require allot of $200 folders. I'm also not much of a tip down guy either. But.. This knife is very well done! Materials, Fit and finish are above par value of most. Thanks to Sal and KW for another excellent exclusive.

For some reason I can’t load image from neither google nor flicker. Any advice would be appreciated.
