Changing pocket clip to tip up makes the pivot loose

#1

Post by Felr2 »

I just got my Para 3 and if I tighten the pocket clip to the tip-up position, the pivot becomes extremely loose and creates blade play. This is reverted as soon as I tighten the pocket clip.

I assume it has something to do with the screws messing with the metal liners near the pivot... Is this normal? Even if I tighten the pivot as tight as possible, once I put the pocket clip on it becomes loose.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I've seen tip down cause issues around the pivot but I'm not sure how tip up has any effect.
