M4 Military
Sliverax
Autonomy
Dragonfly Salt hawkbill

That gives me two sizes of both PE and SE plus a hawkbill to play with. Military for bigger harder use jobs, Sliverax for any casual EDC, Autonomy for serration destruction and Dfly for discreet light carry. That's my Fantastic Four.

If my little Dyad Jr had a clip it might replace the Dragonfly just so I can cheat my way into having a fifth blade.

Well, Michael, you have a few years on me, but I have been wondering if/when I should curtail. My wife certainly has strong opinions...

To that end, and counter to my powerful gear-junkie impulses, I could go for these:

Small-Roadie
Medium-Caribbean
Large-Noti Amor "Sabotage"
Fixed-the Gringo's WaterWay
-Marc (pocketing an S110V Native5 today)

These four I carry almost every day:
CF Fluted Native5
CF ZDP189 CAly3
Kopa Coco
Grey Jester.
Once in a while I am switching Caly to Memory or Hungarian. Or CF Fluted Native to Ti Fluted. But this helps me to love first four even more.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I don't know if I could do four including the fixed blade. I could probably do four plus the fixed blade. Maybe.
Ladybug Hawkbill Salt or Dragonfly Hawkbill Salt. Still thinking.
Salt 1.
PM2
Pacific Salt.
The fixed blade would be easy, Jumpmaster 2.

Fixed Spydercos. Off hand I like the Bradley Junction and the Salt fixed blades. Good use and working knives. But, sentiment leads me to favor Gayle Bradley’s Bowie. My father and sister were born in Bowie, Texas. I spent some early years there as well. I learned about Jim Bowie (or a legend or two about him) there and Weatherford is just a short way down the road. So, I suppose if I had to choose, Gayle’s Bowie would be it.
Overheard at the end of the ice age, “We’ve been having such unnatural weather.”

I was thinking along these lines last week and I'm pretty sure I could survive with just my k390 Urban and s110v PM2. My four would be

2. Paramilitary 2 s110v
3. MIlitary 204p
4. Southfork (my only fixed Spydie :p )
Currently enjoying Spyderco's in - S30V, VG10, Super Blue, Cruwear x4, CTS XHP, S110V x2, M4 x3, S35VN, CTS 204P x2, S90V, HAP 40, K390, RWL34, MAXAMET, ZDP 189, REX 45

Small - Leafstorm (Techno 2 may unseat)
Medium - Caly 3 or most any Delica
Large - Endura
Fixed - Still carrying the one my grandad made for me in his workshop over 50 years ago.
Can you share a picture of the fixed? I'd like to see it.

Pretty crazy how many people don't own or use any of Spydercos fantastic fixed blades.
I would if I had a use for them in my life. But, sadly I do not.

Small/Medium/Large folders ? PM2/Military/P4. PM2 and Military in either M390 and/or 204p.

Will always have more than one fixed blade in the kitchen, so I don't have to pick one :)

Following your three folder/ one fixed mix:

1. Urban K390, for jurisdiction restrictions, non-locking sub three inch. A robust cutter regardless of jurisdiction
(Movie quote bonus pts quiz: "....so my jurisdiction is pretty much in your face.)

kind regards,

Small: C22 CF Michael Walker
Medium: Slysz Bowie (SpydieChef for better seawater resistance)
Large: CF Military
Fixed: Currently that would be a Caspian Salt since that is the only fixed blade Spyderco I use regularly (diving and freediving), the ones I use normally are customs.

I'd miss my Pacific Salts for use around the ocean though...

I think the most interesting thing in this thread is what people define as small, medium, and large. For me, I think I'd have to choose my pm2 for the large, mantra for medical, and positron for small. Don't have a fixed blade right now
