How does the peel ply carbon fiber wear on the Sage series?

Do they come off with use? I want to get the Sage 5 but I am worried that the carbon fiber peel ply will start to maybe peel off the G10? Does this happen?

It's epoxied together just like an additional layer of G10 would be. It's not going anywhere.

Nothing to worry about IMO. have several knives with CF-G10 laminate and it seems very durable to me. I've never heard of anyone else having any problems either.

I have had my sage 1 for over 5 years. It was my edc for two years none stop when I had a second job working at fedex freight on the docks. I treated her like she was a gas station knife and the cf handles still look brand new. The blade...not so much.

I have separated the CF and G10 layers...

with lots of sand paper and elbow grease. I went through a polished/shiny scales phase, and by the time I got the cf/g10 composite shiny, all the CF was gone.
