BHQ Para Series with DLC M4 /Jade

It was right after the manix M4 came out. The outline of the blackout knife looked like the PM2. I called it then. Just happy I was right.

Yeah but they used that pattern for every knife including the Manix. It was just a generic place holder.

Oh. Lol. I didn’t see any of the other coming soon photos. I guess that’s why no one responded when I said dlc PM2 to my original post over on the manix thread. Either way I’m glad this is coming out. I’ve been wanting to have a titanium dlc PM2 and this will do.

I hope Spyderco is following the interest in these models. Seems like a fairly simple formula, but maybe I am missing something.

Popular model (PM2, Millie, Manix, Native, Para 3) + Rare Color G10 (Jade, Red, Orange, some new translucent color like translucent orange, translucent dark green, translucent brown, translucent charcoal, etc) + DLC coated rare hard-wear steel (M4, Cruwear, 52100, 3V, 4V, PD-1) and hardware = GOLD MINE.

Hopefully Spyderco will come out with some production "families" in these combos like they did with the Blurple G10/S110V.

I would love to see something like this in full production...with options for Satin and DLC in each model

Cruwear/Translucent Charcoal G10
52100 / Translucent Brown G10
M4 / Opaque Navy Blue G10
4V / Translucent Dark Green G10
PD-1 / Translucent Orange G10
3V / Opaque Deep Burgundy G10

Obviously doing all of these would probably be overkill and one would cannibalize the other, but you get the idea. I love the Blurple/S110V family, but there needs to be some production in at least one of the steels I listed across the Golden line.

Love my satin finish m4 jade pm2. Was really hoping this was going to be a para3. I have more pm2's than I can justify, yet they keep tempting me with knives like this and the red g-10.... I will resist. It does look nice with the dlc though :D

I don't get the appeal of Natural G10. It's like glow-in-the-dark except it doesn't glow. About the only good thing about it is you can dye it whatever color you want. I do like M4 though.

Oh man, that looks so good!! :eek: This is why I wish Jade was an option for all production models. Not only does it look great on its own, it also is great to dye, especially if you are a fan if translucent colors. I can't bring myself to dye any of my rare exclusives.

in my opinion, a PM2 is not a must. I have owned 3 and currently own 0. Looks good. but a lot would look good in this combo. Shaman please!
