2018/2019 Native Sprints?

Will we see a 52100/Peel Ply CF sprint and a Cruwear/Gray G10 sprint of the Native 5 soon?

Anyone hear any rumors about either of these?

No rumours about either of those that I've seen. As a fan of the Native 5 I'd find both of those hard to resist. Spyderco likes to surprise us every now and then. Let's just hope we're pleasantly surprised!

Honestly, between Maxamet and s110v, my Native desires are fully sated.

I'd love to see a 52100 Manix, though. :)

If it was dlc and jade g10 count me in. I have really come to like those jade scales with the dlc blade. The satin didn't really catch my attention. I would also like to see a m390 version as well. While I'm wishing here my third wish would be a Manix 2 made the same way. No liners and maybe just carbon fiber? I wonder how light that would be? Pretty close to a lw I would say.

So although redundant, here's what I said there:
Native 5 in linerless carbon fiber scales with rounded edges. M390 steel with 2.5 mm thickness at the spine, stone washed finish. Compression lock. Deep carry wire clip. No lanyard hole.

I would happily open up my wallet to more Native sprints this year, preferably in the LW variation. The release of the Native salt in on my radar (although I would have rather seen it in all satin hardware). Cruwear, M4, xhp, Elmax, or M390 would be welcomed surprise.

Absolutely. If we had to choose between DLC and Satin for future M4/Jade exclusives, then DLC all the way. But if they can keep getting future runs in both finishes, more power to them, and i'll definitely pick up a satin as well.

My preference, especially in the "tougher" steels like Cruwear, 52100, M4, etc is for a fully lined G10 or PPCF. Nice tough steels in a solid tank-like package. That is what i'm talking about. That is really my ideal EDC. :)

I do agree that people varied in their preference for scales. I do like titanium best for its toughness and the ability to change its color, so it's very customizable. I then favor carbon fiber. It's light and nice to look at. If it's smooth it's a bigger plus. I find I like G10 the least. I don't like it so much just because of how bad it tears up pockets. I easily pull out my knife 10 times a day. I have lots of pants that look ok for work except the pocket.

I do agree that the native with liners feels like a tank. I used a blurple native quite a bit till my painter stole it. That knife always felt rock solid. I recently acquired a Frankenative, it's the fluted carbon fiber handle with a s35vn blade. I plan to swap the blade for a maxamet blade. I'm curious to try out maxamet and the new native construction. I want to see if it feels just as solid. I do like how light the knife is.

I'd prefer the Cruwear continue the Gray G10 theme. Its a tougher steel that would match well with a full liner G10 frame. I wouldn't be opposed to them doing both versions though! There have already been two different Cruwear Manix 2s.

Yes, but why all SxxVx?!!! Nothing in any of my favorites...Cruwear, M4, 52100, 3V, 4V, PD-1. The first three in that list need to come to a lined G10 or PPCF Native asap. The last three I will keep my fingers crossed for some surprise sprints.

Will also be hoping for a Red M390. That one would be sweet in DLC as well.
