In preparation for a Thanksgiving get together of the tribe, I made a trip to Palestine.
Palestine, Texas that is. The Brookshires there is enlightened and has Mix and Match 6-packs.

White-tail deer hunting ends January 5 in the Texas North Zone, wherein lies Houston County, not to be confused with the City of Houston. The oldest county in Texas, the county seat is Crockett where Davey and his men camped at a spring on their way to the Alamo... but I digress.

Balanced on the bed rail of the Tacoma is a beer named for left field box seats adjacent to the Houston street of the same name, and one of the shortest home plate to fence measurements in Major League Baseball, 315 feet. At about the same distance, Cousin Bryan is desperation sighting in a new scope. The better to acquire the hoofed ruminant that eludes his buck tag.

The Houston Astros may have won the World Championship in 2019 and 2017 playing in Minute-Maid Park/aka Enron Field, but I am still furious about them leaving the Astrodome. Don't get me started.

I've had that beer brought to me by the brother of my wife, he lived a couple of months in California and chose to bring me that beer. Good memories!
