I never saw the online order status status change from out of stock to in stock. Gave BladeHQ a call, the agent said they were available for about 20 seconds

Set my alarm for 1am by the time I got one in my cart they were all gone... I give up. I'll never get a chance to even buy one. Bummer.

Yeah I sat here at 11am hitting refresh and it never changed status till about 11:04 then by the time I was done with the order they were gone. Maybe they do have more left but still went crazy fast.

They sold out this wave of 140 knives in (from what I can tell) less than 2 minutes! Wow...

They did not sell out of anything, they are posting tiny "batches" at a time of their 1200+ piece run in order to generate hype for the product. Blade hq has been doing this for years now.

Where did you get that information? The following is directly from item description.

"For those who weren't fortunate enough to get a Manix 2 Black DLC M4 on January 30th, the remainder of this run of knives will be available February 6th at 10am MST. Please be advised, it is a small quantity and is expected to sell out quickly. Limit two per household."

"The remainder of this run." That reads pretty clear to me.

I was all pre registered and hit on two, with success, the second they became available. Then they quickly sold out. Guess I got lucky. My buddies wife put two in the cart but was only able to order one. She might have ordered the last one. It’ll be interesting to see if any more are released.

Man that is absolutely crazy to sell out that fast. I def feel luck I was able to grab one in the first round. It really is a super nice knife. I haven’t brought myself to be able to use it yet because it is just super nice

I recently bought a manix 2 lw s110v for the second time because mine was stolen at work (swear to god, turn your head for 2 minutes while helping a customer and leave your knive which everybody is aware is mine - I've become that guy to the rest who don't get quality gear and recommend buying 20 cheap pieces of shi- and it's gone.) Really can't go without that manix lw so had to get it again. got a 940-2 as first benchmade and its an impressive piece of gear but I think the high praise is overrated. bloody thing chipped within a week and the bevel was set so low that after getting the chip out ( how it chipped I don't even. must've cut paper too hard because it didnt even leave the house) I could as well set a whole new bevel instead. After some slamming it on diamond rods it's on it's way back but all in all I consider it my first regrettable purchase of a knife. Had no high expectations, just interest seeing as the community is crazy about it, and the action and weight is all nice and fine, but overpriced as **** for what you get and extremely dissapointed in it's durability and out of the box blade grind. Should have gotten this manix instead so I'm kicking myself now.

Still have my sweet g10 and lw s110v's though which I ADORE so there's that atleast.

This is my first manix. I really like the scales and blade. But if they make a Shaman in this combo, there is a chance I will not buy another knife for a long time.

I ordered 2 black blade today. I moved a couple weeks ago and forgot to update my shipping address in my Blade HQ account. So after I got my order in I called them to update my shipping. They told me they went on the site at 10:04 mst and sold out by 10:05 mst! I logged in at 10:30 cst and hit refresh continually till I could order 2. Got one for my collection and one go give to my son in about 15 years (he is 5 months), so far his first 2 personal collection knives are a s35vn para 2 and now the dlc m4 manix 2.

And the M4 Military was available for literally months...I’m apparently oblivious to what fuels the knife market.

I don't think the Military is as appealing because it's very large and has no special lock like a ball bearing or compression. Just my thoughts
