i know spydercos are meant to be users and not custom made show pieces, but I dont think I can bring myself to use this thing. it is a work of art. glad i picked up a satin m4 user. maybe ill eventually buy a DLC user on the exchange if they arent going for $500 for a used one.

Tomorrow when I get mine I hope I don't feel the same way as I planned on beating one up for work. I wanna see how much more corrosion resistant the DLC treatment makes it. Uncoated M4 rust pretty quick on me. Florida humidity plus corrosive sweat is rough on m4, but for me it has the perfect balance between edge retention and toughness.

Is that the box it shipped in? My neighbor ordered one AFTER me and his showed today, and mine is set for Sat lol.

Debating on telling them to leave it in the mailbox, as he said it required a sig, but not sure the box will fit...

Yes that is the box it shipped in, I had ordered 2 of them. They do require a signature upon delivery.

I actually picked up a pm2 right around the same time. I have to say it is def a little better feeling in my hand. And the action is smooth as silk on the pm2 as well. It’s very nice on the Manix but the pm2 wins this one. I would have a hard time picking just one

They did not sell out of anything, they are posting tiny "batches" at a time of their 1200+ piece run in order to generate hype for the product. Blade hq has been doing this for years now.
