I loved the design, but mine had really bad lock stick. If they put a steel lockbar insert in there, then it'd be great. That blade shape was really something.

The Chokwe is still the best Ethnic series knife Spyderco ever made, and probably my favorite pocket knife of all time if I had to choose just one. I'd buy a sprint without hesitation.

The Chokwe is one of my favorite Spyderco designs. Great knife, I love the blade shape with a thin tip for slicing!

I would totally go for a sprint, but would also really like a mini-Chokwe as I've suggested in a couple of other threads. A 3-3.5 inch blade would be perfect. I would also suggest making the detent a bit stronger as I've had several instances of the blade opening while in pocket.

It would have to be a Japanese steel.

HAP40/Superblue. Nice thin blade like this would be great for either one.

Hap40, with a stonewased blade since the sandwiched Hap40 always scratches easily.

Steel lockbar insert with built-in overtravel stop.

Chokwe and Lil Chokwe.

Hi Sal,

The original Chokwe was made in Taiwan. Why the need for a Japanese steel?

In that case I would love to see some uncladded Super Blue, it is after all my favorite steel and the Chokwe would look amazing with a beautifully patina'ed blade.

I know you hear it all the time Sal but I/we truly do appreciate your openness to suggestions here on the forum. Thank you.
