Waterway modeling with some small Yellowfin Tuna. I later filleted all 3 with the Waterway. I'll try to post some video soon.

Nice Lance!
Going tuna fishing out of San Diego early September.
Hopefully it will drop by then. This knife will be mine. :)

FRN or G10? I think you said G10 in the video but I thought it was FRN.

Congrats on the knife Lance. I’m getting one for sure. You’re right, I can see this knife working for a variety of uses, not just fish!

Let's be honest, this knife would sell in other steels as well. Maybe those steels wouldn't be suited for Lance's purpose but they would still be incredible knives. How about in S90v, 204p, or even Cruwear, and sell it as the Fresh Waterway lol.

This model really does appear to be extremely functional and designed with utmost practicality in mind.

I'm sure this is common knowledge amongst long term members, but Lance, where do you live/fish? South Florida and travel to the Caribbean? I used to live in South Florida but I am a coastal NC native.

I just noticed DLT gave this a bump on their site. I have it listed by newest and this is now "newer" than the Para3 Rex45 and the Vtoku2 Manbug

It's such great value for a Spydie fixed blade especially to try out this steel. Can't wait either, will pair well with the fillet knife I got from Sal lol

Lucky.
I wanted one of those fillet knifes.
Definitely would make a nice pair.

I heard there might be a waterway folder, but it would be nice to see a more flexible fillet knife released as well to pair with the waterway.

Yes, please.
That would be a buy for me as well.

Glad Spyderco and Lance put this one together.
The Waterway definitely looks like a winner. Now I just need it in hand. :)

I'm glad it's being made in Golden. Lance also seems like a stellar guy. Maybe he has some info on release :)

Looking forward to using this as a nice allrounder.
Although I love water mine won't go fishing and will stay quite dry, having epilepsy water and me don't combine as well as I would like. ;)
Would also really like to someday see that "Fresh Waterway" happen! :) I'd love to see a slim fixed blade like this in Cruwear!

From its infancy, the Waterway was designed to be an all around utility knife. It is made to withstand extreme corrosive environments and it has a number of design features that are meant to optimize it for fishing and water activities but it was always intended to be a slim but strong “do everything” fixed blade. I have been planning from the beginning to have a cruwear model made for myself. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
