Catalog is live! What does everyone think?

Caly Jr Sprint jumped right out at me. I’ll have to look through again. There were definitely things I’ve hoped for that didn’t make it in. New Slysz designs being the most prominent and the a Phil Wilson filet knife.

What’s everyone think!

My initial reaction!

That page of sprint runs is AMAZING!!!

The Parata looks like another incredible Paul Alexander design. Kind reminds me of a kiwi in the closed profile.

Warriar hawk looks fantastic! Really like the new clipitools and all the love that fixed blades got this year!

Congratulations Lance!! Waterway looks fantastic! Can't wait to try it out. :spyder:

I've only skimmed through so far, still need some time to take it all in!
All in all, this is an impressive catalog!

As a Bowie knife practitioner who has been debating between two models from another company, I want every bit of information I can find on Sal's 'Respect' Bowie. Never would have expected to see such a classical design from Spyderco, but needless to say this is a welcome surprise!

SS Kopa sprint was not expected...gonna look into that for sure.

Spyderhawk sprint...paging JD...

Parata is interesting...especially the lock. This is the first production piece we've seen with the Stop Lock, which is rumored to be the lock that the Military 2 will (eventually) have.

Parata looks sick. Paul Alexander has some very beautiful designs.

Native 5 salt, I don't know if I will ever have enough salt knives.

OMG the picture of the Rhino looks amazing! Is it going to really come true???

I think I want everything shown on the Sprint page. most excited about the PPT, Spyderhawk and the Stretch 2.

The catalog was put together very nicely, and I’m excited to get a copy. However, I have to admit I was hoping for more new knives to be included after seeing so many discontinued recently. I’m sure they’re coming though. A good friend of mine kindly reminded me to wait for shot show, A’dam meet and the mid year supplement.

As far as things I was really excited to see...the DLC Shaman is a must have for me as is the Parata which is easily one of the most comfortable knives I’ve ever held.

Very interested in the Native 5 salt, Caly Jr. Super Blue sprint, Spyderhawk and possibly the PPT.

And yes, still eagerly awaiting the Rhino and the ATR 2!

Wow. Congrats lance. That water way looks great. Like a salt version of the sprig.

Lots of gems in this one. That sprint page needs some real attention.
Interesting that they expanded the back of the catalog for steel chart, how to change your clip, lock types and a bunch of other stuff. Don't remember that being so extensive.

Also, does anyone know what knife is shown on the rock cliff on page 116 and 117? I don’t see it listed in the catalog with a name. Handle looks frn..

SB Calypso Jr. and VTOKU Endura or Delica for me. I better happen to be solvent when they‘re out...

The Parata and the new sprints in that one steel are totally enticing. I handled the Parata at BLADE and loved the ergos.

Vtoku Dragonfly will probably be my only purchase. Mainly because I overspent this year. PPT looks nice but will be pricey!

Hi LC, that is actually the Waterway. The design went through quite an evolution and the picture shown with the name is actually an older prototype. The Waterway will look like the picture on page 116-117. Hopefully it won't go into the print version like that but if it does, I trust you guys will keep folks informed. :)

ETA: That handle is a new textured G10. It is a texture that they created specifically for this design to keep the g10 grippy in wet and bloody conditions. I"ve been using it for awhile now on one of the prototypes and it is very grippy and comfortable.

Oh wow, that’s a great looking knife you’ve designed Lance. I thought that might have been the Waterway but I wasn’t 100%, thank you for clarifying. Can’t wait to get my hands on one!

In full agreement, missing the Phil Wilson fillet and any Slysz collabs. Really liking the WaterWay, not sure why there isn't a full length cutting edge? Would have preferred this. Very nice design Lance.

Oh, awesome! I like the new version with the full handle a lot more.

As for the rest, although I love the Bowie and watching LC200N spread in the lineup, I'm hoping they've got some things in reserve for SHOT. Their high end is notably sparse at the moment.
