Taichung Sprint Runs

#1

Post by bearfacedkiller »

We have had sprint runs from Golden, Italy, Seki and Moki but I do not believe we have seen one from Taichung yet. They have shown an ability to work with a large variety of steels so I think our options are wide open.

Let's make this thread a brainstorming thread for Taichung sprint ideas. I have heard quite few suggestions over time and have made a few myself. We often get what we ask for so let your voices be heard!

The all black TiCN PPT was a sprint run from Taichung. And apparently there's a second sprint run of the PPT with carbon fiber coming - see the casual bombshell thread.
I'd like to see a sprint of the Gayle Bradley 1 with coated M4 blade and red G-10.

Ah, the PPT. That one slipped by me. Thanks for pointing that out. :) That means it is possible! Keep the ideas coming! I have a few and I'll chime in later. For now I want to hear what you all want.

Well it would probably end up being an exclusive (bbs) and not a sprint but I’d love to see the Sliverax made with smurf blue g10 and M390 steel. It’s a fun design, it should get a fun colour!
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

Not sprints. They're "exclusives", so BB could possibly have Spyderco to make again.

Schempp Bowie with copper bolsters and copper lightning strike carbon fiber scales! :spyder:

A little more like the custom Schempp model.

Why not bring the Slysz Bowie back as a sprint? Maybe do some RWL34 steel.

To answer my own question, it might not make sense as this model would probably hog too much production time at Taichung.

K390 / M4 Sprig or Junction would be so good.

I like the way you think Holland

That was my first thought as well - the BBS 204P Domino was from Taichung, though I guess it was an "exclusive" and not technically a sprint.

Agreed with Evil that the Sliverax is probably the #1 sprint/exclusive I'd like to see. C'mon BBS/Blade HQ, how about it?
