What would you purchase?

Post by T_MAC686 »

If you had ~$100 to spend on Spyderco knives, what would you purchase? Would you put it all towards one knife and get something like a Manix or PM2 or would you spend it between a couple knives like a Dragonfly and Centofante? There are so many awesome models to choose from, How would you spend your $100?

First thing I’d do is keep an eye on the BF Exchange.
Your $100 would go much farther that way.
Depending on your needs plays a big part in choosing a specific model.
Personally I’d look for a PM2 or a Manix. Both amazing Spydies.

Depends on what you already have. The Centofante and Dragonfly combo ain't a bad idea if you don't have either. Right now in that price range I'd probably get an Atlantic Salt, or I'd save up a bit more and get an Autonomy.

Manix2 LW if you want a bigger knife, Chaparral if you want a smaller practical EDC. YMMV

I play this game all the time and it's my favorite. depends on if you have your eye on 1 expensive knife or multiple less expensive knives. do any of the newer spyderco releases catch your eye? which specific models did you have in mind or are you interested specifically in the models you listed in your original post?

SE Pacific Salt and an FRN PE Byrd Cara Cara would cover my EDC bases for life. I'd buy those two.

Open to all suggestions! I have wanted a Manix LW for a long time but also a Dragonfly. The new Chaparral is looking really good too!

Nothing because I don't know of any spyderco worth buying that sells for a hundred bucks over here. Just paid around $275 for a P4

I would get one of these. K390 Urban, Native5 LW, or Chaparral LW. Probably the Urban.
