The designs, the ergonomics, the steels, the quality, and the hole. Variety adds spice, and slice to life. :spyder:

My reasons are pretty simple. FFG and lightweight options. :)

Spyderco makes no perfect knives, but it makes so many near-perfect ones that choice abounds, and favorites are next to impossible to declare. What's not to like?

Adventurous designs with great ergonomics and very high performance.

In my experience, Spyderco ensures that their standards are always as high or higher than the ELU. And that makes a real difference. I don't think I know of a 'lemon' knife that they've ever made!

Because they're an always constant companion for me, like putting on clothes everyday! As stupid as this sounds, one day not too very long ago I forgot my wallet but guess where my Manix was? In my RFP where it always is!

As a total newbie... they look super cool, are ergonomic, durable, come from the factory stupid sharp, are easy to sharpen (the 5 I have anyways) and are reasonably priced vs. many other high end manufacturers.

The company seems like they are run and employ great people too.

Great warranty as well.....

I could go on, I guess.... ;-)

Product line that evolves with new material and designs, but stays true to good business practices.

Nice designs.

Made in USA still a thing.

Collaborations with makers.

Sal's presence here with his customers. I hope Eric picks this up, too, at some point.

Collectibility of products. Knives that actually go up in value!

Been a customer since the 80s!
