Living at 7013’ in essentially a dry climate (winter snow excepted) and being a knife cleaning compulsive I have no need for LC200n. Others do of course. I’m quite happy with S30V, XHP and VG10.

Would a knife with LC200n have to have a brightly colored handle?

I would like to test and use LC200N in my favorite knives:
Para 3,Dfly, Lil Native -yellow handle, plain edge.
I like how you think. Maybe a different scale color, like bright red, to distinguish from H-1 Salt models.

The PM2 will sell whether it's full salt or half salt. Even no salt.

You could release a "PM2 retro" in GIN-1 and it would sell.

You could also release a "10th Sprint Anniversary" in CPM-D2 and it would sell out (foliage green of course).

I'm in though if it happens.

I'd rather have a Military and Para 3 Salt. LC200N for PE and H1 for SE. Day glow yellow G10 and DLC blades and hardware.

I enjoy LC200N quite alot. I would potentially buy a PM2 or Para3, but that's only to sate my desire for a fully lined Native 5 Salt.

I'm still dying to get my hands on the N5 LW Salt!

.....OH, and just to get the juices flowing, here is a pic that someone posted. Im not sure which member and where the pic is from but it is a home run
The original photo is credited to Anthony Sculimbrene from his Paramilitary 2 Elmax review (which I ripped without permission :o )

I just edited it using photoshop and posted it here so folks here can have an idea what a 'salted' yellow PM2 in LC200n could look like. So all credit goes to the original author.
Bloody good photoshop skills mate (thumbs up)

honestly, i don’t think i’d want to carry a knife like a pm2 or a manix into the ocean. my pacific salt gets pretty sandy and i can’t imaging dealing with a more complex locking mechanism in the same conditions. i’d love a manix2 lw backlock in lc200n though.

i would probably still be happy with a non-salt lc200n version for ease of maintenance.

For awhile now I've suggested that some of the most popular models should be available as production models with a choice of steels- a standard steel such as S30V, a corrosion resistant steel such as LC200N, and a high end steel such as S110V or even M4.

For me (and many others I suspect) Its not about going IN the ocean with it, more so the enviroment caused be being on or near it. My Daily PM2s suffer rust on the non blade steel parts just because of the salt air and humidity. I do what I can to keep it at bay. But a full blown Salt PM2 id be all over like a white on rice.

Actually that just gave me a brainstorm. I keep my work PM2 in a clear plastic container in my cooler and then in the fridge of a night (keeps condensation down between temp differences) I might fill the container with rice!

My bet would be equally stacked on a LC200N waterproofed G10 version or as an early, perhaps first, offering of a FRN PM2 (a true PM2 Salt).

that makes sense. i don't only carry my pacific salt in the ocean; it's also my workout knife. it's almost always in my waistband, but i love how light and thin it is and the fact that i never have to worry about it at all. some of these bulkier and more complicated knives wouldn't replace the pacific salt for me, but it do think it would be nice to have versions that require less worry. i even got a rust spot on my xhp manix and it would be sweet to have one in lc200n, even if it wasn't a full salt version.
