52100 Manix 2 ?

So I truly love my 52100 Military and have a new found love for the Manix platform. Does anyone know if a Manix 2 in 52100 would ever be possible? Forgive me if this has already been asked.

After just receiving my dozenth (to coin a word ) Manix 2, I was thinking that the upcoming DLC M4 would be my last... but I would probably buy a 52100 in peelply CF.

Edit: after thinking it over more, I would definitely go for a 52100 M2 in peelply CF.

I don't have any Spyderco 52100 or Golden peel-ply cf, it's a big problem. A Manix 2 with both would fix this nicely.

I could be wrong now, but I thought originally the 52100 sheet thickness availability limited its applications.

I remember Evil D brought this M2 idea up within the last week or two and we discussed it for a second... Leading to the idea of the Manix lock back 52100, since it uses blade thickness similar to the Military and Paramilitary 2.


I personally would like to try it in something nice and thin if it were ever possible.


Also, seems at this point it might need to be funded as an exclusive.

So do we know for sure that a Manix 2 in 52100 isnt possible due to the thicker blade stock?

I'd be down for a 52100 back lock Manix if we can't get it in the CBBL Manix 2. But **** if I dont want a Peel Ply CF DLC coated 52100 CBBL Manix 2!!

Back lock would make me buy one. But a LW CBBL would interest me. I'd be even more interested in K390.

Given my experience with this steel in a PM2, a model I have come to love, I can't see myself letting it pass me by in a Manix2, a model I have always loved.

I'm definitely in for a 52100 Manix. My favorite platform in a steel I'm interested in? Definitely a buy.

I'm sure it will happen eventually. I'll just have to wait for it. :)

You know, it's been a long time since we had an exclusive Manix 2 XL (CF S90V & glow-in-the-dark S30V) and we've never had a sprint run. Maybe its time for another exclusive XL. CF 52100 would be good and I could suggest a couple of other steels too.

I would love this as well. It's a wonderful steel and a very nice choice for scales.
