Sign me up for one. Never did get around to trying M4, and love the XL. I'd like to support sprint runs in the bigger knives :)

EDIT: nevermind I don't know why I thought these were XL
I think you will like M4 with the DLC to keep it from rusting. On you. It likes acute angles more than most very high carbide steels, and Spyderco does a good job with the heat treat as usual.

It’s probably worth trying the Manix 2 regular size for you as well. I’m a big time original Manix lover, but I’ve come to really like the Manix 2. The end of the handle doesn’t make my large hands feel constrained, and the .4” less of blade isn’t the end of the world. Heck, I’ll buy the knife off you if you try it and don’t Love it. Personally I’m glad this knife is coming out because my 2010 M4 Manix 2 is very worn at this point. I’ll probably get it regroups, but still a newer version of the knife wouldn’t be a bad thing.

If this was the backlock it would be a grail for me. Still might get one and satin would be my choice

I wonder if these will drop this year? I have only purchased one of the BHQ exclusives, Military M4 natural g10. Do you guys find there is a typical time range once BHQ exclusives are posted as a notify me option? 2 weeks to 12 months? Lol.

its usually a wait but I also don't remember them saying coming soon on the others, so maybe this one will be shorter.

I wouldn't mind a good wait for this, need to recoup some funds lol. But that is my problem, so if they come sooner that is cool as well

If this were a back lock version or a light weight I would be all over it, especially a back lock.

Hopefully there will be a sprint or exclusive sooner or later of the back lock, that's what I've been waiting on. I'd be ok with M4

I hope BHQ posts like they did with the previous PM2/Military where they made them available starting on a certain date/time :spyder:

I will definitely try for 2 of the DLC. I was just wishing for a blackout M4 manix. If I do manage to obtain one I will swap the scales for some CF ones

Wow. I remember, what feels like not long ago, the scarcity of M4 availability in the lineup and how bad everyone was pushing for it in some of the Golden staple designs.

Well now here we are! This selection is really coming on quick!

Tempting, but I'll restrain myself. I already have two Bento Box exclusives (my beater and a pre-need replacement) so I'm happy in the M4 Manix2 department. But, a jade Manix2 XL or BL would part me from my money (the jade PM2 sure did).

Those new photos make me want this one even more!! Gonna be a "must have" for sure.
I wish we could have one of these in a Manix 2 XL size as well.

It's fine if you don't try to reprofile it.
