Just bought one of these a couple of minutes ago from KC.... excited to get it and try it out.

I was eyeing up the Manix 2 BL for the longest time, but caved on this one first because I don't have any knives in S90V and want to give it a try. The liner-less providing a middle weight option between LW FRN and G-10 full liners is a nice option - I think Spyderco should consider that on more product lines, having the choice is nice.

Cheers all thanks for all your thoughts on this, it helped in my purchase decision.

I would like to hear the one with the liners and the one without the liners... how they compare on the lock breaking machine.

I would be curious to know if the locks hold the same strength and if the failure point changes between the two variations.

Brian,
This is interesting question. I didn't used my KC yet, but using CF Fluted all the time. I didn't notice any difference in my wild life activities :D

LOL, I've messed around with it, but it's just something rattling around in the back of my head.

Decided to order one of these beauties today, my first Native. I’m very happy they’re still available.

The Native arrived today and I’ve spent the afternoon checking it out. Always wanted a Native, I’m glad I waited for one like this. It’s a bit unique with the smooth g10 and 90 steel. Fit and finish is solid and tight. Seems like a fantastic piece.

From those who have used both, I’m interested to hear more about how the smooth G-10 on the exclusive compares to that of the standard G-10 Native 5. Thanks.

The smooth G10 makes it look and feel like a more expensive knife, at least initially. It feels great and has plenty of grip under normal conditions without gloves. The lighter weight is welcome, but not holy **** light like the FRN. The peel ply G10 has more grip for sure if that's what you're looking for, and the FRN even more so.

I literally got the last one. Ordered it last night (the 15th) and the order said I needed to order less than 1. ? So I called over to find what's up. Last one! She says it's going out today.
I hope it's a good one and not a return item.
Thanks to the bump here tipped me into it

I’m quite satisfied I was able to grab one. Got mine a couple weeks ago, and it’s got a lot going for it. I went back and forth about getting one, with all the Manix, Para and other exclusives being released lately. This offering was available for quite awhile, I’m surprised it didn’t sell out sooner. It’s a great piece I really enjoy carrying and using!
