Stretched Manix 2 LW Mod

#1

Post by OkanSeven »

I have had a hard use Manix 2 LW for a few years and although I drooled over the ergonomics and weight, it just never got much pocket time. The main reason I didn’t seem to EDC it was it’s width, just never felt right in my front pocket. A few weeks ago I started a little re-grind project. She’s not quite finished but most of what’s left is just a little touch up work. Here she is a Manix 2 DW(Diet Weight) at about 2.4 oz with a stretch like blade shape. Let me know what ya think, cause I can’t tell if it’s gorgeous or hideous haha

I like it! Great job OkanSeven. I have a trans blue/BD1 M2 that just sits in my knife box. I bet it would see a lot more carry time if it was modded like that.

That turned out really nice. You did a great job on the re-grind. I'll bet it was a fun project. :)

Great execution and design. You've modded up a Stretch-homage with CBB lock.
As an old fan of Pro-Hunter/Venator/Grip/ Stretch and the UKPK drop points, that one rings my marimbas.

kudos, OkanSeven

Love it. I've been planning for awhile to mod the spine on my maxamet m2 but I'm thinking to grind it straight like a pm2. Para-manix-tary! :D

The result is very nice!

Just wondering if those brownish color on the spine sign of overheating?
