I love happy endings.
True story:
Some years back I lost a Buck 110. Couldn't find it......gave up. It had been a great friend and gutted many deer for me. Done everything I asked of it. Long story short, my wife found it in the front yard after 3 years of Wisconsin winters and summers. I cleaned, oiled, sharpened and polished it with Flitz. It looks better than I ever remember after that spa treatment.
Now it's retired. I admire it occasionally but won't risk losing an old friend who waited that long to be reunited with me. :)

All's well that ends well. Glad to hear you found your favorite.
It pays to have backups for everything you care about.
