where do you carry your spyder [s]

#1

Post by mjmcdowell »

Iusually carry mine cliped tomy right front pocket ,in the case of the smaller one's, co-pilot,or toad, cliped to the watchpocket, sometimes to my right rear pocke but only when shooting IPSC [ I use a belt slide holster, don't want the muzzle to contact the knife. If carrying two the other is iwb under my belt on my off side where it is very much out of sight especially if it has a dark clip, I seem to favor the second gen. merlin ser. edge for the second knife. As allways I carry the cricket [ black tuffram finish] merrkat or a green alamite navigator as a money clip in left front pocket. In right front pocket is a "sheeple" knife a small yellow handled camilus single blade jack knife...... Ha!.... now you know some of my secrets. mjmcdowell

Usually in my right front pants pocket. Sometimes I'll carry my Native in it's Mike Sastre neck sheath. Once in a while I carry my Lum Tanto folder in a Gary Graley leather belt sheath.

Clipped to my right front pocket, and my Kiwi rides in its suede pouch in my right pocket. Usually the Kiwi is for sheeple enviros.
Hey 4 s ter no problems with concealed carry with you Sastre neck rig for the Native?
I guess if you don't flaunt it no problem eh?

CKE

In the summer I usually wear the neck sheath on the outside of a t-shirt but this time of year it is inside my coat. Not much choice at -30 degrees, anywhere you carry would be concealed

RF pocket, right in front of my cellphone. Two clipped objects pretty much precludes use of that pocket, but I don't mind.

Never underestimate the impossible.

A Q for Simona...
At -30 degrees you surely wouldn't re-sheath your blade in your bra if used. Or doesn't it get that cold there?

(My wife would have trouble concealing an Endura thusly, without "printing&quot

where do you carry your spyder

Everywhere I go!!
But on my person, it's in the left rear pocket!! It works best, being that I'm left handed!

Simona- nice pictures of your carry but was hoping for the bra knife shot!! Oh well!

chinook- my wife could hide a "bob lum tanto" and still have room for a cell phone, keys, ect.

I've usually got a spydie in my left back pocket... Mainly because I can use a right-handed tip-up liner-lock w/o worrying about it opening, that way i can have 2 knives w/o having to worry *too* much about ambi-dexterous clips.
