I would love if the sprint had the golden embellishment on the blade.

That's a good point Landon >> because I've truly wondered why more IN HOUSE designs aren't done at GOLDEN, CO USA Earth facility

There's just got to be a campaign for more IN HOUSE Spyders to be done at the GOLDEN plant for sure.

And hey Buddy??!! if you get your Caly Jr. Sprint then I want my TEMPERANCE 1 Sprint to follow ;)

Thank you, sir. Burgundy and gray are really the only ones that get used these days. It's hard not to love that burgundy ZDP-189, man. Cuts like a laser.
elena86 wrote:You guys are killing me  I only have two with burgundy frn scales in ZDP189 laminated and both have collector's club numbers so they are both safe queens.I only wish I had one dedicated user...
+1 with those saying to use one of 'em. It's a great knife. :)

I've had a casual eye out for a C52BMP for a long time. Not not consisitently enough I guess, b/c I keep missing them lol.
Oops, I missed your reply. Thank you for the congrats. I've passed over a few serrated micarta ones over the years hoping to get a PE, but those don't seem to pop up too often. Totally stoked to have finally found one.

Nice, I voted for super blue. I'll make sure he feels right at home...

So it will probably be a super blue with a really easy to scratch cladding. I really dislike those soft steels. Just sayin'.

I'm ok with that as long as the pivot is a fastener not pinned. Though i prefer my Superblue solid

I loved my caly Jr but it REALLY REALLY needed jimping. And now that they exist, a wire clip which is the best clip ever put on a folder.

I personally don't need and want jimping (to be honest I loathe it) and a screwed pivot, however I would also prefer solid Super Blue. As far as I know the Calypsos are made by Moki and they used solid Super Blue blades in the past (Caly3 SB sprint run) so it may be possible.

The Caly Jr is made by Moki just like the Caly3 and Caly3.5 and they were solid Super Blue. Just sayin'. :)

I'd prefer stainless on a knife that'll get used, but I'm obviously in the minority.

SRS15 best of both worlds, feels and performs like CPM-Cru Wear and it's stainless.....or AEB-L.

I'm a fan of carbon steels but the more I think about it, stainless would be nice for a lw that I'll probably carry IWB a lot during the summer (though I do have other options for that).

I mentioned GIN-5 a few pages back, I believe it's the closest Japanese equivalent to AEB-L/13C26.

At this point, Sal could come around and state that they are going to make them from 420HC and I would still buy a couple.

Ain't nothing wrong with VG10.

Though VG-10 would be less exciting for me, I'd still buy a few. They would make great gifts. I wonder what the possibility is for SE?

Not necessarily Jazz because I still say that the stainless Caly Jr was truly one of my all time favs out of that line. But if they did a Sprint Run in stainless I would like some type of inlay on the handle like they did with the Pro-Grip model.

I really hope it's super blue. I will definitely skip this if it comes out in vg10. Vg10 is super boring and there already are vg10 caly Jr's that can be found on the secondary mrkt
