To clip or not to clip?
I always use the clips. As someone else has said, it helps when you "flick" them open and it also keeps them handy.
As to where I carry them, I always have one in my right front pocket and left front IWB. Generally there is also one right front IWB and one right rear IWB if I don't have a fixed blade in that spot.

I've been carrying my older Delica (molded clip model) clipped in my RF pocket for the last couple of days. The only thing I've noticed is when I bend down I feel the hanlde kind of poke my leg. I keep checking to be sure it's not falling out.
I used to carry it clipped in my right waist band but every time I had to un-tuck my shirt or pull down my pants it would fall on the floor unless I remembered to remove it first.
It is nice to not have to dig in your pocket to find it, it's always ready to go.
