Spyderco Double Bevel Question

#1

Post by the swamp fox »

Guys,
I just bought one of these from an eBay seller that I've bought from over the years. Just curious , did these come in a thin plastic bag inside the Spyderco box with the knife lterature? I was used to seeing the bubble wrap type baggies on the Japanese Spydies.
Thanks

I believe the bubble wrap is to take up space so the knife doesn't move around in the box. Larger models can't fit very well with the wrap, and really they don't require it for a snug fit. I'm pretty sure I have some Seki specimens that came in a plain bag. I want to say my Stretch came that way, but I don't have it in front of me to verify.

Depending upon the maker and country of manufacture, we use bubble bags, open-topped plastic bags, and heat-sealed plastic bags. All are legit, just different.

Stay safe,
