Or a more clippy, clip point even better. I love me some good belly to a blade, but can't stand it when the fine "stabby" tip is sacraficed. It's kind of just my thing I guess, but I find an acute point useful, and it's a deal breaker to me if a knife doesn't have it. the one reason why I don't own a slysz bowie actually...

I agree with you regarding the tip and that's the main issue I have with the Bowie. I still own one but don't carry it often because the blade shape isn't nearly as useful to me. Don't regret the purchase, but I'm down for another if they switch up the blade shape.

Last year at Blade, I'd just bought my Mantra and I was talking to Eric about it, and he said he was working on a Mantra 3 in a stainless blade and compression lock (as well as mentioning "compression lock flippers", which turned out to be, so far, Hanan and Sliverax). This year, I asked again and he told me essentially the same thing. I have no idea on a time frame or 100% official confirmation that it's being made, but chances are pretty good. I should've said "This is probably happening" instead.

I think (though my memory could be confused on this) that he told me this year it was going to be in S30V.
