Agreed. Bought twice and both times excellent. Most recently, this:

+1 for DLT. They've been great on every purchase I've made with them.

Dern, Spyderco sure makes things difficult. Already have a Yo, and a Yo, having a difficult time not having a Yo, Yo, Yo. How can the third time be a charm when the first two were? Knowing the Caly 3 is near, guess I'll have to hold off on this on for a bit.

I am reconsidering my plan to do a handle swap. I don't know what changed between seeing that first picture and the latest pictures, but I looked at the brown and black yo2 last night and said, "oh, now I get it.". Kind of reminds me of a black and walnut .45 .

Also, let me be the first to coin the phrase "Chocolate Yojimbo" :D

Only 2? I've got 3 and have owned 4, but I don't have one in DLC :D

Just letting everyone know DLT is 100% good to go. I buy lots of traditionals from them. They are involved in the "old timey" knife scene. Really good guys. They will always answer emails right away. Great dealer. I have pre ordered from them as well with good results.

My experiences with DLT have all been excellent. Just preordered this knife today and I hope the the handle scales are as dark as they appear in the pics I'm not a big fan of the tan ones. But if they are it's not a deal breaker. :)

Well heck... I wonder if my 2 week old Yojimbo 2 needs a brother.

Of course I don't wonder. It's the sensible thing to do.

Never hurts to have a back up. I plan on keeping my S30V Yo2 as a SD only knife. The S90V will be doing EDC work. :D Man I've wanted a back up for the Yo 2 for a while, JB Outman made a great choice commissioning this knife.

GREAT point about S90V for EDC work. How is S90V to sharpen? Hopefully not quite as "particular" as S110V...

If you had two unlabeled blades of each kind I bet nobody could tell one from the other when sharpening.

This will be my first S90V blade, so I couldn't tell you.

I bought the diamond rods for my Sharpmaker. I have a feeling they will make basic reprofiling a little easier. I plan to use them with a very light touch.
