From the KnifeCenter website:

Description
SP10WDP: C10WDP Endura 4 Pakkawood
Spyderco

This limited edition Exclusive version of the Spyderco Endura 4 was specially manufactured for KnifeCenter and features a laminated HAP40/SUS410 blade and handsome mahogany Pakkawood scales.

Its keen PlainEdge blade features three-layer laminate construction comprised of HAP40 and SUS410 steels. HAP40 is a high-speed tool steel produced by the powder metallurgy process—an advanced manufacturing method that reduces the alloy segregation in the steel and ensures an extremely fine, uniform carbide structure. Containing generous amounts of tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, and cobalt, HAP40 possesses exceptional toughness and high abrasion resistance—key qualities of a superior blade steel. To provide increased strength and corrosion resistance, the high-performance HAP40 core is flanked by layers of SUS410 martensitic stainless steel. This unique three-layer construction is evident when the full-flat-ground blades are examined closely, as the transition between the core and outer layers is visible just above the blade's cutting edge.

Not to be outdone, the handle of this remarkable knife features full skeletonized stainless steel liners, a stainless steel backspacer, and scales machined from mahogany Pakkawood—a unique material that combines the durability and stability of a phenolic laminate with the beauty of natural wood. All other features of the classic Endura 4, including a sturdy lockback mechanism and four-position pocket clip, are faithfully maintained to make this knife both a fully functional tool and a work of art.

A remarkable expression of the Endura 4 design, this KnifeCenter Exclusive is sure to become a highly prized collector's item.

Wow, wood and HAP40?!? And reasonably priced?!? I'm not a big Endura fan, but will for sure get a Delica.

Is this somehow related to "The Deacon" knife idea? Seems like this in Stretch form would be right up Paul's alley.

This was mentioned at Blade?? Is this the only wood handle coming? I thought there was a blue wood handle as well? I guess my question is KC the only place to get one?

Beautiful knives. Definitely will be getting the Delica. Is this the first dealer exclusive that has wooden scales?

Haha! I was just thinking about that. As of an hour or so ago I now have 4 pre-orders with KC.

Other than a couple small Buck folders, I have nothing with wood scales. The Pakkawood Delica is a no brainer for me. I'm thinking about having my brother add a nice checkering pattern to mine.

I personally don't care for wood on an Endura - maybe on a Delica. Pakkawood is classy and HAP40 an awesome steel.
