Bet these will look cool after they get some wear marks around the edges.

Ended up getting the Delica as my first Spyderco and I am really happy with it so far. I was wondering if this level of wear on the blade near the pivot is normal after opening just a few times (10-15 times). It looks to be the liner rubbing against the blade. I assume it is from the pressure of deploying the blade.

I finally pulled the trigger on Friday and just got a PakkaDelica delivered to my office this morning. It's gorgeous! The scales are very impressive...I really like the color and particularly the texture of the Pakkawood, which in my opinion, is way better than the Dymondwood that Benchmade uses. I never owned and Endura but I hope KC has them in stock long enough for me to get the money together for one of those too. Also...I know a lot of you guys have been asking for a Stretch and DF2 in this configuration (which I think are inevitable if these sell well and how could they not??) but I'd really love to see a Pakkawood Centofante 3! PLEASE...more PakkaHAP 40! Awesome job Spyderco and KC :)

I got mine. It is very nice. The build quality seems very high and the lamination lines are very even. I have a lot more of the dark wood in mine than I would have liked but I am still pleased with it. Thanks Spyderco and KC!!!!!

I like that dark look, Darby! Reminds me of a charred oak barrel.

My Endura and Delicas finally arrived today after being stuck in customs for nearly 2 weeks. Beautiful pieces. The lamination lines on mine are not as even as others, but still very nice. The fit & finish is superb and they are all incredibly smooth. Also the pakkawood on all 3 is gorgeous! Centering on the Endura and one of the Delicas is dead on, the second Delica is still pretty good. As many others already said - impressive! Will post some pictures later.

So the pakkawood isn't a natural wood and is man made?

Also is the SUS410 for corrosion resistance? Is this a knife that needs a small amount of oil or something, like my Jade M4 pm2? Or is it good to go out of the box in a humid/occasionally wet environment?

Pakkawood is a laminate wood similar to what is used on firearms. It is many thin layers of wood sealed together in an epoxy resin. It is a man made product that is impervious to moisture. HAP40 is not a stainless steel. It is not hard to maintain but should not be neglected either. There are multiple reasons why stainless laminates are used. Corrosion resistance is one of them. Machinablity and increased toughness are others.
