Highest end Spydercos?

#1

Post by Holocene Extinction »

May I have a list of the highest end spydercos produced? Not G10 or para's ( I know they are great ) but I'm looking for the premium market. Titanium handles, good steel s30v+ etc. Thanks :spyder:

To Murph's list I'll add the Sage 2.

ETA: I'll also add the Chaparral 2, 3, & 4

C'mon Murph, you can do better than that. :)

The first run of Carbon Fiber/S90V Military, Carbon Fiber/S90V Paramilitary 2, the Pride Integrity Guts (PIG) Police, the original series of Walkers, the Fluted Military isn't too shabby, the Anniversary Edition Delica, the Church Mouse.

I'm drawing a blank on some of the other rare models.

Oh, if you're just talking about highest grade materials, you could frankenstein a Titanium Military or Fluted Titanium Military with a S110V blade.

The Taichung, Taiwan knives have pretty amazing quality.

If you're judging by price tag, the Lionspy isn't too bad, and there are some other pretty high price tag models currently being produced.

Thanks for the suggestions looking at them now guys as we speak. There was this one folder I saw awhile back it had brown G10 over titanium handle frame? It was a serious flipper and I'm drawing a blank myself on the name. Any ideas? Thanks again.

Hahaha funny how the brain works it's called a Southard Flipper. I was close. Will take me a tiny bit to go over all the suggestions and compare. Thanks guys!

Yeah I forgot they made such high quality steel paras ( reference to your last post ) I just like titanium handles but don't mind some other materials if the deal is right. Will check out the lionspy right now.

Nirvana, Tighe Stick, Mamba are recent high end models...

As for less recent ones try: Tuff <it's half Ti ;)>, Fluted Ti Native, Stepped Ti Chaparral, Stepped Blue Anodized Chaparral, Memory, Phoenix, Tusk, and Ti ATR...

As for really coveted models that aren't Ti: Kris, Bolstered Persians <black Micarta & red Micarta>, Jess Horn c27, WTC memorial D'Allara, 25th Anniversary Delica, Walker c22cf Klotzi <Ti pivot>, Poliwog, all the Dodo's, Captain, C10JBBP & C10JBOP Enduras <Ti bolsters>...

just to name a few of my favorite models :D :spyder:

here's a trusted link of all Spyderco models in one central location:

I believe you are thinking of the Brad Southard flipper.

The vrango is a very high quality titanium folder with s30v. It is almost too nice to use.

the 40th anniversary native is the only linerless fluted carbon fiber and 93x Thor Damasteel knife in the catalog. It's nice.
