PM2 in S110V...It's calling my name. Should I?
I keep going online and looking at the PM2 in S110V. I had a PM2 (black S30V), but I ended up trading it away. I'm wishing that I would have kept it. At the time, the S110V version wasn't out. I'm really digging the blurple scales, and the steel is supposed to be ultra sharp and wear resistant. I'll most likely have someone more talented than me sharpen it, when the time comes, so that's not a factor. Is the S110V that much more wear resistant than the standard S30V? I've heard some reports of chipping, but I'm not sure how prevalent that really is. Are these just isolated cases?
So, if you have a PM2 in S110V, please give me the good, the bad and the ugly.
Thx!

I have it in s110v. It's sharper than I will ever need it to be and it seems to be holding its edge a good while. It flicks open very smoothly.

If you like the PM2 then go for it. I prefer the Manix 2 myself.

My PM2 S110V is my favorite knife.
It came from the factory with a wicked-sharp edge and it doesn't seem to want to do anything other than stay that way.
Corrosion and rust are simply not things I worry about with this knife, regardless of what I use it for.
There are a lot of Spydies on my radar but if I were limited to buying only one more, I'd get a second PM2 S110V.

Go for it! I love mine and IMO the PM 2 is an outstanding knife regardless of the blade steel. :)

The s110v pm2s were done well. One of my favorite knives. The only short coming for me was the sharpening, took me 3 tries to get it right the first time (no problems now). The opening closing action on mine is flawless and smooth and the lock up is solid. Fit's well in the hand in a few different grips, light weight, love the g-10 color.

You should, it's a great knife and the price isn't "too crazy".

Definitely get it if you're thinking about it. I absolutly love mine. The color is great and the steel is awsome too. I carried it for a year straight and it's a great blade.
Re: PM2 in S110V...It's calling my name. Should I?
It's not the worst knife you could buy. In fact, I think Spyderco doesn't get enough praise for their line of Blurple S110V knives. There's lots of collector knives and speciality steels, but these regular production knives set a high standard in the knife industry. I've got most of the S110V spydies except for the Native (just doesn't do it for me) and I have no complaints about any of them. Good stuff.

Thx for confirming. I'll be picking up the S110V within a few weeks. I'll be riding my FJR over to GP Knives so I can pick it out personally. I love the fact that GP is within 45 minutes from me.

The sharpest Spydie I've ever gotten out of the box, and I've never gotten a dull one. Super smooth. Grind lines perfect. I honestly can't nit pick a single thing wrong with it. Just needs a low ride pocket clip. You're going to love it.

The only PM2 I have is the S110V. It is a beautiful knife. I gave my other PM2 away but I am keeping the S110V version.

great overall knife, awesome steel, but i did just see one with a nasty blade crack over on reddits /r/knifeclub yesterday.
seems to be a fluke but i'm curious if anyone else had a crack develop. bad batch or just a solitary lemon perhaps?

I love mine -- it's great. The upgraded line of s110v knives is a great value. My vote would be "yes".
