download MPG spyderco movie

#1

Post by nospam »

I'm testing how to put some MPG downloads on our website.

I have a sample one on there now. Please give it a try and post or email me your feedback.

MPG movies are new to me so please give me your feedback as to if it works or not.

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks,

John

works for me, with my t2 connection and dinosaur comp...

always a good clip, taking scenes from the dealer vid... should take the clip out for the SC01 SpydeRench, just for how it works. Might be a bit big, but yah... be a cool screen saver to run on loop. my p4 comp could handle running it.

vampyrewolf,
Glad to hear it worked for you.
I'm on a dial up connection myself and it works better for my to right click on the link to save it to my hard drive befor watching it.

I email spyderco asking for some photo's to post on our web site and they replied they did not really have any photo's to send but they could send me the dealer video
When all is said and done I will give credit were credit is do on the page with the video downloads.
I will also post all the correct copy right information, etc....

Anyway I'm just kind of playing around with it a bit tonight to see if I could get it to work ok.

Thanks.

how do you transfer from the VHS to mpeg? I could load a few up if you want. either send a RW-CD or send file by file

I'm put my digital camera on a tripod in front of the tv

I'm looking at getting a video capture card for the computer.

Please email me as to what you had in mind for files to put on the web site.

Thanks,

was thinking ones like:
T01 SpydeRench section(had it wrong before)
3 commercials at the end
the opening cut(laser cutting out a millie blade)

can't do that with mine... I'd just buy a dig vid camera though

VW, how do you run a mpeg as a screensaver? I've got a 1.8GHz P4 w/1GB of RAM and XP so it will take it.

ROM831> 1.1Gb processor, P4, 256 SD-Ram, XP...
I got a program with mine that will run slidshows. I asked my cousin to work on it to allow vid/audio files(so I can set something other than scrolling lines), and I have an audio clip set to start off my screen saver, so I can hear it start. It's now integrated into my system, not sure where the file is now as it's been there for over a year(about a month after I got it he had it ready). The single file is about 150-200mb that he did for me.

could probably buy a program to do it, I was just too cheap lazy and cheap to look. Might ask in someplce like Staples.

Cool! As I said on the spydie.com, what's next? Clips from movies featuring spydies?
If you can't find any, just put some penthouse (playboy, whatever, your choice) mpgs, they should be OK, as long as the girls carry spidies

I found it on the main site, right above the 25th anni pic. don't know if it's moved or not.

I made the file size of the movie smaller.
Same movie just a smaller file to download.
Good news for people on a dial up connection such as myself.

If you are on a dial up connection you should be able to view it as it's downloading now.

Learning from others

Will see if I can add some more this weekend.

Maybe even make my own movie, sorry no porn

I also have a dial up connection and I had no problems in downloading the file. It was a matter of minutes
