Name your own Sprint Run!
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Manix 2 back lock, DLC on Maxamet or M4, with dark crimson G-10.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Stretch 2 in S35vn, G10 of any color, even black, but prefer red. But NOT a sprint run, so it stays affordable. The $200+ for the Brown ZDP-189 in G10 is just too much and I don't want FRN option.
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Military in any steel (S30V would be fine!) with a fully-serrated edge.
Wishlist: Delica 4 FFG VG10, Manix 2 LW XHP, Military 204P and S110V, Para 3 Cruwear and S110V, Paramilitary 2 (all versions), SpydieChef LC200N, Caribbean PE and Sheepsfoot SE
Procured: Caly 3.5 VG10, Dragonfly 2 LW VG10, Manix 2 XL S30V, Native 5 LW S110V, Para 3 S30V, Paramilitary 2 S110V

Like M4 + orange G10
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
I would like to see a Manix 2 XL with skeleton stainless steel liners, Foliage Green G10 scales, and a .118" thickness Maxamet blade, in a Sprint Run of enough so I could get two.
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Very, Very interesting Sprint Run request And one I can really agree with. The only reason I never got a Chokwe when they were available in the main line up is because I just never had that good of results with S30V blade steel and it was the only blade steel the Chokwe was available in as far as I know of.di81ni wrote:M390 Chokwe with raffir noble scale

The Chokwe in either LC200N or M390 would both be very intriguing for me. Also to have either G-10 or Carbon Fiber scales would be very nice too. Since the Chokwe got discontinued you just don't hear much about it. I have about the same love for Chokwe and the Des Horn both. They are both very functional but yet extremely unique designs and I thought that both of them sort of got passed over. The popularity of either of the two never seemed to get off the ground. But the Chokwe in a supersteel would indeed be qutie interesting and one I wouldn't pass up on.

Anything that's all black, all over, is awesome:
PE Native 5 with a black FRN handle and a DLC-coated blade.
Calypso with a black FRN handle and a DLC-coated blade.
Calypso Jr with a black FRN handle and a DLC-coated blade.
Flat-ground PE Endura with a black FRN handle and a DLC-coated blade.
Wharncliffe Delica with a black FRN handle and a DLC-coated blade.
Also, neon orange:
Native 5 with an orange FRN handle.
Calypso with an orange FRN handle.
Calypso Jr with an orange FRN handle.
S35VN in all of those would be nice too.

Sage2 with a flipper
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Military "value" sprint run....420HC (or something else proven and reasonably priced) and FRN scales....standard Walker linerlock, but four position clip. Beefed up tip, with more materiel at the front. SE offered.
Sub 100$ range. With all the new super steels and fancy locks and handle materiels, it's nice to go the other way once in awhile.
I would probably buy five.

I would like to see another XHP Paramilitary. I was not really into collecting spydercos when that came out. Maybe a more subte color than orange.
Seeing how XHP is lower carbide and a pretty high carbon stainless, like ZDP, maybe a British Racing Green G10 PM2.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
I'd be in. The PM2 is my favorite knife and I want to get at least 2-3 more than the blurple S110V model I already own. One is going to be CRU-WEAR for sure and I'd love one in 204P but I kind of missed that boat and can get almost two in another steel for the price of one of those.Ryno wrote:I would like to see another XHP Paramilitary. CTS-XHP would go right to the top of my list along with CRU-WEAR, but it'd have to be in a different G10 than orange. "Natural" would work, so would BRG. Tan, brown, black, camo, light blue, dark blue, red, grey, forest green, sage green (my personal favorite) and jade would all be fine.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
+1 for another PM2 in CTS-XHP with a different than orange color G10.
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Thought of a cool idea for Sprint Runs. I'd love to see models that we associate with certain Spyderco plants made in other plants for Sprint Runs.
- European Endura in N690Co.
- Japanese Manix with a back lock with VG-10 (or MBS-26 if VG-10 cost more than BD1 from the US Manix. I prefer BD1 anyway.)
- Japanese UKPK in Super Blue.
- American Police in XHP.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Perrin PPT, black blade, black FRN lightweight handle, lockback. Alternatively, satin blade and orange FRN. S35VN.
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
I'd still like to see some sprints done with the kitchen line of knives. Upgraded steels and handles and possibly a nice Spyderco block for storage/display.

Cricket FRN in Purple. Lets also go plain and serrated models.
Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Stretch 2 in Cruwear and "Cruwear-light gray" FRN.
