What is on your radar?

So what is on your radar to get this year out of the 2017 yet-to-be-released knives? For me, I am patiently awaiting the PM2 in 52100, an SE Pacific Salt, and a set or 3 of throwing knives. After that, then I will think about stopping.

Well, maybe I would need :rolleyes: a PM2 in Maxamet and a wharnie Delica in some high speed steel if they ever come out with those. Hint, hint, Sal! :D

I haven't bought one knife this year because...once again...I'm waiting for the Paul Alexander flipper. I'm starting to feel like a broken record, but I really want that knife. I sort of feel obligated to hold off on all purchases until I get that one in my hand because I'm fairly certain it's going to break my EDC rotation indefinitely.

My eye is firmly focused on the exclusive Military in 204P. That is certainly my next purchase.

The SpydieChef will come after that.

Then a Delica or perhaps another Para 3 if a new steel is announced. Maybe even a Sage 3, as my new Manix 2 XL has me wanting another CBBL knife.

The widely-rumored Techno 2 would be bought instantly if it becomes available.

As for what is not out yet, that Alexander flipper is it. As far as what is out that I don't have, a Sage 2 IF I can find one with low lockup. I watch the exchange diligently for that one.

I'd gone a couple years without buying a new Spyderco, then I bought 3 (Worker, Manix 2 LW, & Lil'Temp 3) over the last several months. About the only thing on my radar to check out is the Rhino. The new Chinook & ATR look cool, but the Rhino might be something I'd actually carry on a day to day basis.

I'm somewhat budget challenged but not completely out of the game, and if I get really desperate I have 1 or 2 that I could sell or trade.

At the top of my list was the Orange Manix 2 S90V, which I just got. If it wasn't for that one I would have bought an M4 Military.

The PM2 in 52100 would be very tempting. A PM2 in Maxamet would be more than tempting, and I would be very tempted if I find a used Manix 2 Maxamet at a reasonable price.

That's 4 on the wish list which is plenty to fuel my dreams.

I have my eye out for a G10 Native5, I'd like to try one out. As well as a GB2. Waiting for the Salt 2, FRN Chaparral and the Hap40 Caly.
I'm sure there will be more I'll want too, especially any yet to be announced sprints and exclusives.

+1, that Lil Nilakka is going to be one bad mamma jamma, love the full size. Also looking forward to the Chinook 4 and Police 4, K390 rocks. Curious about the 100 pacer I guess too, I like the odd ball stuff, always amazed by how well they perform.

The Lil Nilakka and the HAP40 sprints to be released this year have priority for me (Meerkat, Caly3) but there are plenty "on the radar." The Paul Alexander Flipper is definitely one thats on the radar for me, as well as the Wharncliffe Delica and D'allara 3. I know the latter two are available, but Im trying to wait until the sprints that I want are released before I buy anything else!

Also, after seeing the pictures of the Rafir Nobel Chaps, I'll very likely end up with one of those at some point too. Such beautiful scales!
