The variety is awesome, but like has been said, I'd need to see it before I bought.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

This material looks like fun too....Heat colour changing (Yes, I admit- I think anything that either changes colour or glows in the dark is beyond cool!)
That blue uranium looks amazing too. thanks for the link.

Mine will be arriving in a week or so... Can't wait! :)
I've been loving my Chap 3, so this is sure to be a winner.
I just hope my pattern turns out okay...

ha ha yeah I know, pic's or it didn't happen. My excuse is, I'm an old bugger and don't know how to do pic's.
My only hope is, if my Son's stops in for a visit, then we will have proof. :)

Mine is now on a slowboat from Kalamazoo to Wolverhampton.....So all these photos are killing me :D
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Just got mine a couple days ago, and I'm just floored by how great this knife is. The Chap has always been a favorite - the Chap1 was my first Spydie and the one that got me hooked. Sets the bar so high in terms of slicing ability - always had me wondering why other knives sucked at it! I wasn't sure that I'd like the raffir noble, but wow, it's beautiful stuff. Really like the patterns on both scales, so I guess I lucked out. Pics soon...

For anyone that has one of the other Chaparrals as well, does the blade stock thickness of your RN version appear to be ever so slightly thinner throughout?

Just compared, and I'm pretty sure my RN is a hair thinner than the CF Chap1 too - no calipers so I'm just going by eyeball...

I guess we need calipers, for me they look the same. Or possibly the RN is every so slightly thicker, but I don't think so lol :)

Whereabouts are you in AB if you don't mind me asking?

I think I'll go take a picture of mine. I bought it at a local B&M so I was able to choose between the display model and the one he had in the back and I took the latter.

Not to far away from you, I'm at Canmore, Hey maybe we can do some trading or coffee, I don't see very many enthusiasts around here. :p

Yeah that's pretty close...I'm actually a few minutes South of Calgary, but hopping onto 22x and ripping around through Bragg Creek is a fun drive to Canmore, and I now have a fun car to do the drive in so I'd definitely be down. I can walk you through the Photobucket process if you'd like...it makes posting pictures very simple. Just took some photos...pictures after I upload them.
