It's definitely lived up to the hype for me as well.

I wish they would make something in fully serrated saber ground with it.

My favorite spyderco is still my zdp fs endura.

I don't know if they'd make a Maxamet knife anywhere but Golden but for FRN, the Dfly2, Delica 4 and Endura 4 scream out for this steel.

The G10 knives which also scream out for it are the Para 3, Paramilitary 2 and Military.

I'd buy one each of a Maxamet Dfly, Delica and Para 3.
Wishlist: Delica 4 FFG VG10, Manix 2 LW XHP, Military 204P and S110V, Para 3 Cruwear and S110V, Paramilitary 2 (all versions), SpydieChef LC200N, Caribbean PE and Sheepsfoot SE

Procured: Caly 3.5 VG10, Dragonfly 2 LW VG10, Manix 2 XL S30V, Native 5 LW S110V, Para 3 S30V, Paramilitary 2 S110V

How about a manbug in maxamet? Is Spyderco planning on introducing something like this any time soon? I'd love to try out this steel. And a Manbug might be easier for those of us who have already spent too much on knives. :)

I assume Maxamet is only going to be used on the Golden made models. Too bad. The Lum Tanto would be a good candidate for this.
