How many do you carry?

#1

Post by street soldier »

How many spydies do you carry at any given time? Currently, while on duty as a LEO, I carry a Millie SE on my duty belt, a Rookie SE clipped to my shirt pocket, and an Endura PE clipped to my waistband. Seriously considering adding a SPOT for neck carry. Wow, now that I look at it, I guess I've been bitten by the Spydie bug!!

SS, welcome aboard... missed your first posts.

You're light compared to some of us. On me right now, I have:
R/F: Millie CE S60V
L/F: Endura SE FRN ATS-55
R/R: Salsa CE Tan 8A
L/R: Nav 'Kat PE 6A
IWB/R: GS SS 'Fly PE[only until my fly is back(this next week), and I get my calypso jr fixed(sending in after my fly is back)]

Wow, vampyrewolf, and I thought carrying three was a lot!! Talk about hard core. Looks like I'll have to get moving on increasing my collection. Thinking about the Native FRN in both PE and 35/65. Opinions?

I have my native FRN CE sitting in a box ready to ship(putting it in with my C52 when i ship), due to lockup concerns.

Personally I find the knife to be great for food, but worthless on cardboard and paper. The serrations just don't work as well as the others. Could be the burr left on mine that i never got off, but I dunno.

great size, great handle shape(fits well), lots of control.

PE would be a better bet as you could rough up a section.

Always two. Usually a small plain edge(co-pilot, Dragonfly or Cricket) and a large serrated (SS Endura, Full Size Calypso or my new Endura/Hawk).

R/F most of the time a SpydeRench PE (I just love it), sometimes the CoPilot SS/SE. Around my neck I carry my MiniPolice Necklace.

At home most of the time my Police SS/SE and/or my Harpy SS/SE.

On a normal run-of-the-mill college-bound day, I pack the following:

*Ladybug
*SS SE Harpy
*50/50 SpyderCard in wallet
*2 Leatherman Micra's: One in bookbag, and one in CD case.

On weekends, just take the previous amount and multiply it by 2.

Just one (Delica usually). Oh, forgot about the Ladybug on the keyring - so that would make two
