I just ordered the Manbug V-Toku2/SUS310. First small knife to carry in dress pants, cool video.

Also how has the pivot held up in regards to blade play with the heavy cutting you’ve done with it?
I'm very curious to know as well. My ladybug developed vertical blade play with light to moderate cardboard cutting.

Thanks guys. I saved that shoe just for this.
Do you have a preference for blade shape on the manbug? My only manbug is the superblue, but this one looks really compelling.

I’ve had the Manbug Salt Sheepsfoot for a year now on my keychain. I use it almost every day to open up packages, etc. It’s very handy. The tip is very effective and the serrationtiond work well on fabric. Also, it’s like a mini rescue knife to cut seat belts and cut through clothing. It’s constantly exposed to sweat, salt and humidity but there’s no rust.

Plus, it's so light, you hardly know it's there. I don't have one, but I have the Ladybug Hawkbill, which has similar functionality. It's hard to find a knife so capable, in such a small package, that you can really carry anytime, anywhere.

I've been carrying the Manbug Salt since it came out. I picked it up at SFO while I was on vacation and it's been an excellent EDC. I don't even always feel the need to supplement it with a bigger knife since it cuts so efficiently. I love how the serrations go straight to the tip, and I'm consistently amazed at the cutting aggression that the wharncliffe shape lends it despite being so small.

A very small amount of lock rock typical of lockbacks but as far as I can tell nothing has changed since I first purchased it. No horizontal play.

Well, here's my new vid. For some stupid reason, I felt the need to talk. Sorry, just had to explain serrations or something? A bit of my sharpening technique in there too. Hope it's not too boring.

I'm ordering one over the weekend. Too busy this week.
I think it will make a great 5th pocket office EDC. Cutting tasks in the office is mostly limited to opening boxes, cutting tie wraps and removing insulation material from cords.

So why the Manbug Salt?
The size, weight and unobtrusiveness seems pretty much ideal for what little I expect it to do.
The knife laws around here is also a bit mushy, so a big part of choosing this over any other small knife, is it's toyish and very un-murdery appearance. No sane police officer could accuse anyone of carrying this thing around with harmful intent.

And it will also be my introduction to the spyderedge.

I keep mine in a freshwater fishing tackle box. It has excelled in that role for me!

May? You have to get one! ;)

I keep it on my keys as well, and took it off to take a pic.

Mine’s always ready. Its little hook at the toe has murdered many a plastic clamshell, I’m not afraid to admit.

Well, this thread and Jazz's video zapped me and now I have one on the way. I carry my ZDP version quite a bit and I am looking forward to trying this one out. It looks like an extremely versatile blade.

As someone who's main knife is a 58mm SAK, should I get this or the hawkbill ladybug? Advantages of each?
