Really nice! Let us know how you like it. It's on my list, I'm afraid. Would you mind posting another great picture like that, with the knife open? I'm on the fence about how blunt the tip is.

Nice pics!

I think it's a little deceptive how well that little tooth at the end will grab and bite into whatever you need. The lack of a point has never bothered me on this one, but it's a secondary blade for me anyway, it just lives happily on my keychain.

Yes, that tooth on the end - both of them - are wee hawkbills. Great for grabbing and digging in. Think of clamshell packaging.

40mm, there's nothing like that new knife smell. How do you like it? Put a wee fob on it and it'll extend the handle wonderfully.
- best wishes, Jazz.

For me the new knife smell is Ballistol liquorice, after I wash off the factory oil...

I know you sometimes cut food with your knives too, Jazz, and Ballistol is food safe. :p

The jury is still out. My main problem with it so far.....and I just got the thing, is the Dragonfly. :) I've had a Manbug in the past, but that was before I ever had a Dragonfly. Now having the two side by side......not sure what to think. If this **** Dragonfly wasn't so awesome!!! This Salt version of the bug is definitely a unique and cool looking knife. Gonna wait and see if it grabs a hold of me. Maybe I should hide my other knives while evaluating it.

I think you should. And yes, the Dfly is awesome. I think they're both awesome. Variety is nice.

Well, I tried, but I just can't see myself using the Manbug all that much. If they had a wire clip maybe I'd try again, but dropping in the pocket isn't my preferred carry. The Dragonfly has become my go to small knife and it's so good that it didn't help the Manbugs chances either.

Well you tried. Keep it. Throw it in your pocket with another clipped. That's what I do, and I reach for the Manbug a lot. I'm not dissin' the Dfly though. I love it too.

Well, here's my new vid. For some stupid reason, I felt the need to talk. Sorry, just had to explain serrations or something? A bit of my sharpening technique in there too. Hope it's not too boring.

Nice video, Jazz! Thanks for sacrificing another shoe for us.

This Manbug salt has become my mostly used knife. I carry it every day together with either a bigger knife or a sak.

Hey there Jazz. Any longer term impressions of the H1 Manbug? Still getting any use?

Also how has the pivot held up in regards to blade play with the heavy cutting you’ve done with it?

Not sure if this helps, but I've used the regular Manbug and the Ladybug Hawkbill Salt, and they have both been great. I would recommend both. Of course, I haven't cut a shoe in half though. :)

Ha! Yea Jazz’s use went above and beyond in that awesome video. Per usual, once I sell a knife and a little time has passed, I tend to miss it think about giving it another go. I’ve done this with the serrated H1 Salt 1, Dragonfly, and Manbug and just today got another salt 1. Now the thoughts of bringing back the d’fly and H1 Manbug have crept in.

You're not alone. I think everyone should have all three of those.
