Replacement washers

#1

Post by sentinel0garek »

I just want replacement washers for my delica. It seems so simple. Spyderco will not send them to me. Other forums say look around this forum. Does anyone know where I can get the washers ? Or what the size they are ? Any info would be great!

Assuming the same washers are used in all the lined FRN models produced for Spyderco by G Sakai, the approximate dimensions are:

OD = 8.25 mm
ID = 4.00 mm
Thickness = .08 mm

I took my Delica and Endura apart, and sent all the SS parts away to get cerakoted black. When I did so, I distinctly remember removing one phosphor bronze washer from each one.

I got all the parts back last year, and let them sit in a drawer because I was too lazy to do the work. I finally started doing it yesterday, and I installed both washers in the Delica by accident, one on each side of the blade. You can't see a difference, and the knife works very nicely.

So I need to get a pair of washers for my Endura. I've looked around, and can't find the right ones. One source says the proper washer is OD: 0.316, ID: .161, thickness: 0.0035.

If anyone knows a source for this washer, please let me know.
