Glad I got one. I'd rather have a DLC K390, M4, or 4v blade though.

First world "problems".

Even after lube, this model is much less smooth opening than other millie's. Has anyone else experienced this?

Congratulations !!

It is a fabulous knife. But I agree with you about the opening. I think that is just how it is with frame lock knives. At least it is a pattern I have recognized (and grumbled about). If it makes you feel any better about it, mine is like that, but I still really like the knife.
