Looks like a nice fit right in between the PM2 and the Military as far as cutting edge goes. Love the design and the kickback.

Are these production units or just something finally made after years of people asking that are not going to be around all the time?

I have all FRN models now aside from a G10 Native (have a Native Salt as well though). A Chief LW would be excellent and I would be a buyer. I'll probably only get a G10 Chief if a CRUWEAR or 4V exclusive comes down the line.

I'm with you on this point. I know many people love their FRN handled knives, and I have two I really enjoy. I think they are fine and have plenty of advantages, but I mostly prefer G10.

Easy solution, make both! I'd buy a G10 Chief Salt with a Neon Day Glow Yellow G10 and DLC coated LC200N blade and hardware. Should be doable since it is linerless.

I'd still buy the Chief LW Salt as well. Can't have enough LC200N. Great stuff. Can't wait for the LC200N Seki Salts to start rolling out.

Having trouble. Can you clarify?

Blade thickness. The C101G2 has a 3.0mm thick blade while the backlock version was 3.7mm. I like that the manix2's have thinner blade thickness than the para 3 and pm2 but I don't like the cbbl. The native chief blade is 3.2mm thick which is closer to the C101G2. My para 3 lw and lil native are 3.7mm thick. The Native Chief (3.2mm) is slicy-er than my usual carry. If that makes sense.
