I think that would be great, and they would sell a lot of them. I've been interested in the LW Manix 2 version but not enough to pay the price. But I would probably buy a PM2 just because.

Seems inevitable. Even if it didn't make it to full production for whatever reason, it seems like a sprint would happen eventually.

Similarly, when I spoke with Eric at The Gathering in Sept. he said there were 4 Golden models already planned for Maxamet at that time. Inside info aside... considering we've seen PM2 sprint runs in roughly 150,000,000 +/- :p different steels it's impossible to imagine we won't get a Maxamet sprint. I think Jonnie1801's advice is spot-on...just be patient. :)

Maybe we should be discussing handle material and color at this point and try to sway our friends in Golden to produce what we are looking for! My vote would be light grey or peel ply CF. Although CF might make this one a bit unattainable for some due to cost.
