How about being satisfied with the knives that you already have and not buy any more?
It just seems like every time I look at the forum you've created a new thread asking about increasing the blade length of yet another knife.

Spyderco is certainly known to tweak their designs over time. Maybe you'll get lucky.

The D'fly is a great 2.5-3 finger knife. I'm not sure a stretched one would be as comfortable as say a Delica or a Endura/Stretch. I wouldn't be against it though, especially if it didn't have liners.

Never sure if this guy is serious or stirring the pot? Regardless, threads like this are good, gives Spyderco feedback and suggestions on what we would like to see, look at Jazz and the wharnie delica! I myself have suggested tweaking some models as well. I thought'd be good to see a Manix2 with a stronger more utility oriented tip, would love a dragonfly sized knife with the Manix2 lock, it would be perfect for fidgeting. And personally I would love to see the PM2's blade extended just enough to fill the handle, (I like the knife as is but wasted space bugs me and for my hand the handle is just barely big enough so I wouldn't want it any shorter). As far as the Dagonfly2 is concerned, I personally wouldn't change it at all, I love my zdp version, it stays clipped to my backpack, draws no attention and is ready whenever I need it.
If you're wielding the sharpest tool in the shed, who's going to say that you aren't...?

I think a DragonFly XL would sell just fine. I'd buy one. It's a darn near perfect design, why not make multiple sizes. Delicas are my favorite, but I'm glad they make an Endura too. Get what I mean?

From what I've read, adding the serrated edge to the H1 steel makes it basically a super steel.

I like the overall design and shape and blade shape and all that. But I really would like a Dragon Fly Salt with a blade that is at least 3 to 4 inches long.
Maybe something that looks like this (3 inch blade)?

or this (3.8 inch blade)?

The dragon fly has just the right amount of curve to the handle and a really nice amount of belly to the blade which the endura and delica don't.

The D'fly is nearly perfect as is.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Chapparal fills that niche nicely for me.

The biggest reason a larger Dragonfly is more appealing than the Cat or Chapparal is that its linerless FRN handle lends itself to a level of lightweightedness (probably not a word) that the others can't achieve. I've also found the Dragonfly's handle better accomodates larger hands than the Cat. My favorite all-time Spyderco was the Delica III. A 2.75-3" Dragonfly would change that. In a world where Sal delivered us the Para 3 for those of us who thought the Para 2 was too big, I don't think I need objective evidence to ask for a larger Dragonfly.

If/when they give us an FRN Chap, I'll stop asking for a larger Dragonfly.

FRN Chap will be coming in the near future.

Then I'm "Golden" (pun intended even though the Chaps come from Taichung).
