to all::: yee, interesting,i watch now TV, movie "Cliffhanger", really good action with Sly Stallone from Colorado mountains !

Here i saw now, Sly’s movie friend called Hal, he used Spyderco knife in one wild survival action, when he hang from the rock and with second free hand he take knife from his right boot and he fast open knife (really nice action<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> and bing!, put all blade to calf, to man, who kick to him and have had plan kill him.

I dont know exactly knife model, its faster action, but its 100% Spyderco knife, maybe endura ?, i saw part.serrated.

Good movie !, i recommend, who dont know <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Sia -

Saw the movie "eons" ago, and YES it's

the Endura. Funny thing "Hollywood"

didn't put it in some sicko-psychopathic

movie like "Hannibal" back then. But

then again, American "Kultura" has

been going into a downward spiral these

last 10-15 years <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> And unless Our

youngsters hurry-up-and-grow-up I don't

see it getting appreciably better!<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

"Hollywood's" "halcion daze" have LONG

BEEN OVER, IMHO!

Hi Simona-
It was a good action movie, but they all have some phoney scenes in them. Good scenery and good use of a knife.

Simona ;
Look in to the films; The Avengers, Training Day, & Fight Club. They all use <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> police models.

Also the film "PayBack", Mel Gibson'd Character uses an <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>endura to cut the fueline to the badguys' car.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

BIG-TARGET>>>>>>>>>"The Matrix is a system Neo. That system is our enemy. And when you're inside, and look around, what do you see...businessmen...teachers...lawyers...carpenters...the very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured-so hopelessly dependent on the system-that they will fight to protect it."---Morpheus("The Matrix")

As far as I've noticed, in "Payback" Porter uses something smaller, than Enduro. Maybe Delica.

It does not have any Spydercos, but check the movie "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin for some really good knife scenes.

Here's a post by Joyce Laituri in Sept 2002 listing <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> "appearances" How many have you seen? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Joyce posted:

I posted this a while ago but have added a few... The list is made up of your sightings and knives Spyderco has sent/sold to production sets. Sometimes we send/sell knives and never make it in the filming or end up on the cutting room floor. Sorry I don't know specifically what knives were used in every instance, I would love to find out but Sal probably wouldn't pay me to watch movies, darnit. LOL
