That's a Delica. AUS-8 steel, stainless steel handles.
Edit: Whoops. That's an Endura. I didn't look closely enough at the length that you graciously provided.

Early stainless Endura Spyderedge.
I'm not good with model numbers, but I'm sure others here will be able to help out!

Re: Help: ID, please
Looks like either a C10 Endura (2nd generation) or C47 Endura II. Those are the same, just it was called a C47 Endura II from 1997-1999, then they decided to reclassify it as a second generation of the C10 model, so changed it's number from C47 to C10 in 2000.

Thanks to everybody - was sure it was the Endura, but I don't have any resource to get to model number; also didn't know when the Endura was made in all stainless. It's got such simple, classic lines uninterrupted by anything.

Need a resource? Try this one: http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
Lots of good information there.

If I'm reading correctly, my knife doesn't exist according to that resource - my knife is stainless handled, AUS-8. What gives?yablanowitz wrote:Need a resource? Try this one: http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

Re: Help: ID, please
We may have missed that variation on the Spydiewiki. Looking at eBay, I see a completed sale of a stainless steel Endura that claims AUS-8 as well. The photo that shows the tang with the stamp isn't very good, but it does indeed look like it could be an "8".RLDubbya wrote:If I'm reading correctly, my knife doesn't exist according to that resource - my knife is stainless handled, AUS-8. I know that the Endura (first gen) used AUS-8 for a time and production overlapped with the C47 Endura II, so it's possible that some blades were made with AUS-8 for one reason or another. Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Spyderco knives, where undocumented variations are the rule rather than the exception.RLDubbya wrote:If I'm reading correctly, my knife doesn't exist according to that resource - my knife is stainless handled, AUS-8. Re: Help: ID, please
Fair enough. That's one of the things that threw me when I researched; I couldn't find any mention of an Endura with the attributes mine has - so this is probably the best information provided so far!yablanowitz wrote:Welcome to the wonderful world of Spyderco knives, where undocumented variations are the rule rather than the exception.

Post pics of it that are clear, then send all the information to Spydiewiki so it can be updated once it is figured out what it actually is.
