Nirvana NIB but secondhand for $315 was the biggest money pot.

Getting back into knives after a long absence was the biggest jackpot overall, and of all time, for me.

Same here. Factory seconds sale allowed me to buy all sorts of models that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise, and I don't feel bad using them at the prices I paid. For some reason, the Slysz Bowie and Domino were never on my radar before, but I picked them up at the sale and they've hardly left my pocket since.

Nice! Congrats on landing that one! I've been following an auction on eBay that's run a couple times the past few weeks, but the guy set a minimum of $1200 for it (despite running it as an auction). Waaaaaayyy outside the range I'm willing to pay. ;)

Getting all but two of the Kopas.
Biggest disappointment is forgetting about the first auction and folding just a little bit early on the second, or I could've had all 16 now..

I'm new to the Board but not new to Spyderco. My Jackpot actually this week in 2017 was picking up one of the very last Spyderco K2s from Knifecenter for $149.95. Given the "all " titanium handle and blade made in Latrobe PA I.e. CPM-10V. It borders on custom with a cheap price tag. Couldn't pass it up!!

My dilemma will be to keep in the safe or use as an EDC like my Millie in S30V?.

I can always get another military but the K2 is discontinued...

Finally some sprint/exclusive Military love.

Well finally for me. Being new to Spydies I missed the old sprints.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

2016 was fairly lean for me in terms of folders. I decided to try out a bunch of Bussekin, which took up a most of my knife budget.

My best :spyder: buy had to be the Kiwi 4 for about $80. I also picked up an Urban basically for free by redeeming credit card reward points through Amazon. I'm a little cautious about buying knives there, but have had good luck so far, (I have about another $75 built up, burning a hole in my pocket right now :D).

Next, I did score a Cruwear PM2, but just sold it due to the forthcoming lefty version. Finally, picked up a lightly used foliage green XHP Manix off the bf exchange for $150. Not a crazy deal, but it's a great companion for my Cruwear sprint for variety and times when I may want the re-assurance of some extra corrosion resistance.

Super jelly of everyone who made it out to the 2nds sale. One of these days...

dang jabba if I had known you were holding a bowie I would have traded you the Tuff I got in a heartbeat!!

best deals for me at seconds sale would be the Ti lum tanto folder for 80, the Nirvana for $80, and the tuff i got i think it was $100.

That was an end of the day find. I went back for the last hour of the sale and found that one.
