Thanks for this great gesture. I'm in with 717. This is a special time of the year that we can reflect upon so many things we have to be Thankful for. Really looking forward to spending time with my children and grandchildren. Of course the customary prime rib roast with all the good side's will also be enjoyed. My wife makes the absolute BEST pecan pie. Hoping the weather lets us get out on the water to do some fishing. Caught a bunch-o bluefish and speckled trout last week. Cooked the bluies for my mom's dog and the trout for my wife and me. Thanks to Spyderco and crew, and all those that make this such a great forum. :spyder:

I'm looking for most this holiday season is time with my family. It seems like just yesterday my boys were born and know that they just turned 6 & 8 it makes you appreciate that time is short and live in the moment.

As for my favorite thing about the holiday season, people tend to be more friendly.
When I'm outside and come across people in wintertime, they tend do be a little more toned down as opposed to summer.
During the holidays, everyone seems to have some holiday cheer :)

My favorite part of the holidays is getting to see the simple joy my kids get out of it. A lot of times us adults get lost in the hustle and bustle, but seeing my kids see Santa, or getting excited for Christmas always makes me very happy.

It may sound corny, but I enjoy the giving part during the holidays. I did a GAW about a month or so ago on another forum and the winner seemed so happy that they had won , it just made me feel better than the previous 3 knives I had purchased for myself. (If that makes any sense)

One of my favorite things about the holidays is taking the time to get away and visit my sisters and their families. This is the one time a year that I get to see them.
