Another Cruwear Manix 2 KW Exclusive?

Saw this listing on the Bay earlier.

Never have seen this combination before; paper works look legit, but strangely I cannot find any more information about this implied exclusive. Even adding to the mystery, from the certificate of ownership it looks this knife is produced in 2016, while we are already here in December.
My guess is it might be a scheduled dealer exclusive, but some how the pre-prodution piece arrives even before the annoucements from KW.
So far I am still very, very curious about it. Hope there would be some follow-up info soon.

Ah, didn't see that one. Thanks for the heads-up. So it looks confirmed but not yet announced.
2016 is a great year with carbon fiber sprints it seems (well of course it is 'cuz it's also the 40th year anniversary for Spyderco :rolleyes:).

If it is a KC exclusive, maybe NewGraham and/or some of their partners have Collector's Clubs assigned to them. There's more vendors and Ebay sellers that sell their CC's to the public out there also.

NGK has their CC allotment of these new knives. They contacted me over a week ago about my CC version of this knife. No interest on my part so have at 'em! :)

I was not aware of this. I have the previous version in Cruwear...but the CF is super nice. I may need it. Wonder when it will be up for order if it's already being distributed.

The S90V/CPM154 version was announced in very early 2016, and has been there for a very long time.
Also the composite steel one it is not a dealer exclusive like Cruwear. BladeHQ, GPKnives, KnifeWorks also have reserved pages for that model.
The fact of not able to find it in any public info from KC is the reason of my initial confusion.
From the picture I can also tell the CF on this Cruwear exclusive is very different from the one they use on other recent CF runs.
This CF looks very akin to the CF laminated G10 used on Sage series, instead of the full peel-ply CF of those KW exclusives.

Checked their page, found there's one orange Positron listed, which is also exclusive to KW. I think it might slightly help answer to your confusion.

Sweet, just got a preorder in at KC. I just ordered the Brown CTS XHP Manix earlier this morning without checking to see if this Cruwear preorder was available yet. Oh well, looks like its Manix month; I'm expecting a Manix XL in the mail today.
